What is an MSO?

The Manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO), also called a Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin (MCO), is the document used to establish ownership of a new trailer. It's similar to a vehicle title but issued by the manufacturer for new units that have never been titled.

When you purchase a new Framecraft trailer, the MSO is provided as part of your delivery documentation. You'll need this document to register your trailer with your state's DMV or equivalent agency.

What's Included at Delivery

• GVWR Label: Gross Vehicle Weight Rating certification
• VIN Documentation: Vehicle Identification Number assignment
• Spec Sheet: Build specifications for your specific trailer

Registration Process

Registration requirements vary by state. In most cases, you'll need to:

1. Visit your local DMV

   Bring your MSO, proof of purchase, and valid ID.

2. Complete registration forms

   Your state may require specific forms for trailer registration.

3. Pay applicable fees

   Fees vary by state, trailer type, and weight rating.

4. Receive your title

   Once processed, you'll receive a state-issued title in your name.
